Some students at Ohio University used Post-it notes to help give comfort to a student in need.

School officials said that a student wrote what appeared to be a suicide note in the stairwell of Glidden Hall.

Students immediately responded to the unidentified student by writing by writing words of encouragement on Post-it notes and placing them overtop the original message.

Building maintenance officials painted over the hand-written note on Tuesday, but many Post-its still remain.
