Man Accused Of Taking Developmentally Disabled Patients To Strip Clubs, Billing State

The Ohio Attorney General is accusing a man of taking taxpayer dollars while he was actually at bars and strip clubs.

Marc Cox allegedly took developmentally disabled patients to bars and strip clubs while billing the state.

Cox was collecting $166,000 to take care of patients. He sometimes billed the state for 24-hour work days.

Cox was not authorized to provide some of the care for which he billed the state.

Along with taking patients to strip clubs and bars, he sometimes dropped patients off at their houses to watch TV and play video games, according to the AG's Office.

Cox was convicted of aggravated theft.

In order to stay out of prison, a judge ordered Cox to pay restitution.
