A third shooting in less than 24 hours on Clifton Avenue injured two victims in east Columbus early Saturday morning.

Police said two people were shot around 2 a.m. near an apartment building.

Police said it occurred after a man was asked to leave a party.

Lena Woody and Rakim Crawley were both shot in the lower extremities and transported to local hospitals.

They are listed in stable condition.

Police also said a 23-year-old man was shot in an altercation Friday night just after 9 p.m. in the 100 block of Clifton Court.

Luke Cardinale was shot once in the upper body by an unknown individual.

Cardinal said the incident started when he got into a confrontation with several unknown individuals.

Authorities said an apartment building was also vandalized and more gunshots were fired in the area.

This is the same location where 24-year-old Nicholas Thompson was found shot to death early Friday morning.

Cardinal is listed in stable condition at a Columbus hospital.
