A 3-year-old child was found wandering near a busy intersection in Bellefontaine Saturday morning, according to police.
Officers said a off-duty firefigter saw the child, who was only wearing a t-shirt.
The child had left from her West Chillicothe residence several blocks away.
The child's mother and older sister were found in the neighborhood searching for the her.
This is not the first time the child had walked away from the house, investigators said.
No charges have been filed, but children's services will investigate.
