Northland High School Warns Parents About Man Who Allegedly Attempted To Assault Student

Northland High School officials sent a letter home with students about a man who allegedly approached a student near the north side school on Friday morning.

According to the letter, a student reported that an unknown man approached her in the area of Tamarack Boulevard and Tamarack Circle and attempted to assault her.

The student described the man as scruffy with dreadlocks and a muscular build. The man was described as between 5 feet 10 inches and 5 feet 11 inches tall. He was in a 1980s gray vehicle.

Anyone with information was asked to call Columbus police at 614-645-4545.
