Correctional Facility Escapee Charged In Connection With Hilliard Burglary

Police report that two men are being charged in a burglary on Leap Road in Hilliard.

One of the men had escaped from the Franklin County Community Based Correctional Facility.

Devon James Gillenwater, 20, and Jeffrey A. Day, 31, allegedly broke into a rental property on Leap Road on Thursday morning.

Gillenwater escaped the correctional facility on Oct. 22 by crawling under a chain link fence, according to police.
