Licking County humane agents are investigating two cases of possible animal cruelty that included one skinned dog.
Investigators said that a property owner near Heath found the bodies of two cats and a dog. The dog was malnourished, possibly starved to death and wrapped in a blanket.
Investigators say a second case happened new Newark, but is believed to be unrelated.
A man said he found a plastic trash bag on his front porch which contained the remains of a small dog that appeared to have been skinned.
