Police Ask Residents To Check Property After Person Arrested, Charged In Vehicle Break-Ins

Police asked residents to inventory their property after they arrested and charged a person in connection with a slew of break-ins.

According to Blendon Township Police, a number of vehicle break-ins were reported in the Huber Ridge area in the past several weeks.

Residents who reported being targeted were along Dempsey Road and surrounding areas.

Police said that they believed a number of other break-ins went unreported.

Anyone with information about valuables being stolen are asked to call the Blendon Township Police Department at 614-882-8500.

Police said that they had a number of items impounded, and residents were asked to contact police to identify stolen property.

The name of the person arrested and charged was not immediately released.
