A Delaware County Grand Jury will decide this week whether or not to indict the man suspected of driving drunk and killing a mother and injuring two others, including a 10-month-old girl.

Marc Kraft was charged with driving under the influence in connection with a crash along U.S. Route 23 that killed Heidi Hecker.

Investigators said that Kraft crashed into the back of the vehicle in which Hecker was riding. Troopers said that Kraft did not have a license and had been charged with OVI five times in the past. He could face additional felony charges, including aggravated vehicular homicide.

“It is unbelievable and of course emotionally it has wrecked a whole family,” Heidi’s uncle Carl Hecker said. “We have to live with the thought of a1-year-old baby growing up with no mother.”

Heidi Hecker’s daughter and boyfriend were hospitalized and released.

“(I) hope he never drives again, but, like I said, I want to see him burn in hell,” Heidi’s father Judd Hecker said.

Kraft was being held in the Delaware County Jail on $150,000 bond.
