Gahanna Lincoln High School officials have remodeled former classroom and office space to create a model apartment for students with disabilities.

The grand opening for the facility was held Tuesday.

The students will be able to practice essential life skills in a practical living space.

Officials said it will help the students transition from high school to adult life.

The apartment includes a fully operational laundry room and kitchen stocked with new appliances. There's also an adjacent patio.
