Emergency crews responded to Westmoor Middle School after a student was reported to be seriously injured in a fight late Tuesday morning.
Crews responded to the school, located along Valleyview Drive, before 11 a.m.
Upon arrival, crews found that the student did not need to be transported for medical care.
The events leading to the assault were under investigation. The identity of the victim was not released.
