A man was on the run after holding up a north side gas station Tuesday morning.

According to police, the man walked into the Shell Gas Station, located at 1955 Polaris Parkway, just before 3 a.m.

The man implied he had a gun and demanded cash. The robber fled the scene after the clerk complied with his demands.

Police said that the robber covered his headed with a hooded sweatshirt and his face with a bandana while committing the crime.

Investigators planned to review surveillance video for more information about the robbery. Details about the robber's appearance were not immediately released.
