A woman is accused of assaulting a police officer while he was on the job.
According to court documents, Gloria S. Sparkman allegedly punched Columbus Officer Jeffrey Mooney in the face while he was performing his duties on Sunday.
The alleged incident occurred shortly after 4 a.m. near the 1200 block of N. 6th Street.
Speakman, 35, is charged with assault on a police officer.
