The Cleveland Browns will play the Dallas Cowboys in game one of an NFL doubleheader this Sunday on WBNS-10TV.
The Browns (2-7) and Cowboys (4-5) will play at 1 p.m. in Cowboys Stadium. The Browns are coming off a bye week. After a slow start, the Cowboys are 4-5, just a game and a-half back of the NFC East-leading Giants.
The second game of the NFL doubleheader on 10TV will feature the Indianapolis Colts at the New England Patriots. That game is scheduled to kick off at 4:25 p.m.
The Colts (6-3) are playing well behind rookie quarterback Andrew Luck. The Patriots (5-3) kept the surprisingly tough Buffalo Bills winless at Gillette Stadium with a 37-31 victory this past weekend.
The Cincinnati Bengals versus the Kansas City Chiefs will not be seen on 10TV.
Because of NFL rules, WBNS-10TV cannot air another game, even on our digital channel, 10.2; or on 10TV.com.
The 10TV programming department has identified several conflicting weeks during the 2012 season when both the Browns and Bengals play. The Steelers also have a strong following in central Ohio and are scheduled when possible after the Browns and Bengals.
Another common question that is asked is why the station doesn't conduct polls on 10TV.com so viewers could decide the games they want to see.
"CBS and the NFL frown on this practice for many reasons, not the least of which are message boards that try and skew the poll to one side or the other," said Frank Willson, 10TV's director of operations. "We analyze the ratings each Monday morning and try to track which teams are garnering the most viewers. This is the most accurate polling we have."
