WBNS-10TV Board Chair Receives FBI Community Leadership Award

FBI officials announced on Friday that John F. Wolfe has been named the 2012 recipient of the FBI Director's Community Leadership Award.

Wolfe serves as the chairman of the board and chief operating officer for The Dispatch Printing Company and as the publisher for The Columbus Dispatch.

Wolfe also is the chairman of the board for WBNS-10TV.

According to the FBI, Wolfe has donated his time and resources to endeavors that benefit large portions of the community. His business, civic and philanthropic efforts have greatly assisted law enforcement agencies and the community at large.

Wolfe also hosts annual public safety appreciation dinners to recognize law enforcement, homeland security, fire, EMS and public safety officials who serve their communities, according to the FBI.

Wolfe will be formally recognized in Washington, D.C., in April.
