A plan to redevelop part of Hilliard could force the well-known Starliner Diner to relocate.

The diner is located at the corner of Cemetery Road and Franklin Street, which is exactly where some city leaders want to make massive changes.

ThisWeek News reported that several members of the City Planning, Projects and Services Committee generally support a proposed $15 to 18 million dollar project.

It would include both residential and commercial properties.

Hilliard officials said they want more details. The next city council meeting is on Nov. 19.

The owner of Starliner Diner did not return our calls for comment.
