Two rural Union County roads were closed because of a head-on crash Tuesday afternoon.
According to the Union County Sheriff’s Office, two vehicles were involved in a head-on collision at about 4:30 p.m.
Ohio State Highway Patrol officials said that Bradley V. Taylor, 57, was driving north on West Mansfield-Mount Victory Road when he traveled left of center and struck a vehicle driven by Lynne E. Smith, 54.
Taylor was pronounced dead at the scene
Smith was taken to a hospital and was treated and released.
West Mansfield-Mount Victory Road was closed at Stevenson Road.
Taylor was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
