The Big Ten Conference has named Ohio State linebacker Ryan Shazier as the Defensive Player of the Week.
It's the second week in a row that Shazier was picked for the honor.
Shazier had 14 tackles, including two for a loss, in the Buckeyes' 52-22 win over Illinois.
It marked his fifth double-digit tackling game of the season and leaves him two shy of becoming the first sophomore at Ohio State since James Laurinaitis in 2006 to top 100 tackles in a season, according to Ohio State officials.
