Police Look For Those Responsible In Rash Of Wallet Robberies At Area Kroger Stores

Police are looking for those involved in thefts from women at several area Kroger stores over the past month.

On Saturday, Oct. 27, a man shoved an 80-year-old woman as she shopped at the Gahanna Kroger store. He allegedly took her wallet and then bought gift cards with her credit card at a nearby Walgreens.

In Grove City, two women had their wallets stolen as they shopped a Kroger on Oct.12. The stolen credit cards were also used to by gift cards at CVS and Walgreens stores.

On Oct. 3, an 81-year-old woman had her wallet taken from a Dublin Kroger. The same type of thefts occurred at Kroger Stores in Upper Arlington and Blendon Township.

Central Ohio Crime Stoppers announced that they are looking for male and female suspects in these cases. Surveillance cameras captured images of the suspects.

Crime Stoppers has posted a reward of up to $2,000.00 for any information received by Nov. 14, leading to the arrest and/or indictment of the persons responsible for this crime.
