Emergency crews responded to a crash Sunday night involving a Franklin County sheriff's deputy.

Dispatchers said two vehicles collided near the exit ramp from Interstate 270 to W. Broad Street at about 9:15 p.m.

There were no reports of serious injuries. Medics took the deputy to Doctors Hospital as a precaution.

Investigators said the deputy had his emergency lights and siren in use as he was responding to an armed robbery call. Another vehicle did not stop and hit the side of the cruiser, according to authorities.

The crash was still under investigation Sunday night. No citations were issued.
