5 Arrested At Sobriety Checkpoint For Drunken Driving

The Franklin County DUI Task Force arrested 5 people for drunken driving during an overnight sobriety checkpoint.

Members of the Franklin County Sheriff's Office, Brice Police Department, Franklin Township Police Department and Reynoldsburg Police Department checked drivers along Frank Road east of Harrisburg Pike, in Franklin Township.

A total of 276 vehicles were inspected from 9:00 p.m. Friday until 3:00 a.m. Saturday.

Five people were charged with drunken driving.

Deputies also issued 16 citations and 16 traffic warnings and recovered with a stolen vehicle.
