UPDATED: Friday November 2, 2012 11:06 AM

The Franklin County DUI Task Force announced Friday that it will be conducting a sobriety checkpoint on Frank Road east of Harrisburg Pike in the Township of Franklin.

The checkpoint is scheduled to begin at 9 p.m. on Friday and continue until 3 a.m. on Saturday.

The Task Force wants to impress upon those who will be consuming alcohol to plan for a designated driver or make other arrangements.

Advanced notification serves as a deterrent, according to the task force.
