Columbus police said a man who had been shot drove up to a construction site near North Third Street and East Lynn Street early Thursday morning.
The man told workers he had been shot in the neck. They called for help just before 1 a.m.
The shooting victim was taken to Grant Medical Center in critical condition.
The victim has not been identified.
