Police arrested a suspect in connection with a fatal shooting Thursday night.
Police said the victim was shot on Smith Road around 7:00 p.m.
He was transported to the hospital where he later died.
Authorities closed Frebis Avenue in the area of Alum Creek Drive where a suspect in the shooting was located.
The suspect surrended to Columbus SWAT officers on the scene.
No names of the victim or suspect in the shooting have been released.
