Police asked for help locating and identifying a man who robbed a bank on Wednesday morning.
According to investigators, a man entered the Fairfield National Bank, located at 1280 N. Memorial Dr., at about 9:45 a.m.
The man pointed a pistol at a teller and demanded money to be placed in a black bag he was carrying.
The man demanded money from each of the tellers in the bank and then fled with an unknown amount of money.
During the robbery, a witness outside of the bank said that he witnessed a man matching the description of the robber getting into a light blue sedan with a partial temporary license plate No. 2708.
Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to call the Lancaster Police Department at 740-687-6680 ex. 26 or the FBI at 614-224-1183.
