3 Arrested In First Franklin County Bath Salts Cases Face Additional Charges

Three people arrested for allegedly trafficking bath salts now face 10 additional charges each.

According to the Franklin County Prosecutor's Office, Soleiman Mobarak, Hasan Mobarak and Thomas C. Smith, face additional charges after being arrested in July as part of a national crackdown.

Smith, 57, is the owner of The Garden, The Join and The Chamber, all located between 1174 and 1186 N. High Street.

Additional charges included aggravated trafficking in drugs and aggravated possession of drugs.

Soleiman and Hasan Mobarak, owners and employees of the S&K Market, located at 127 E. 5th St., were indicted on additional charges, including aggravated trafficking in drugs, aggravated possession of drugs and attempted
aggravated possession of drugs.
