The Ohio State Highway Patrol was investigating after a number of tactical items were stolen from a trooper's cruiser while parked at his home.
According to the OSHP, items including ammunition, a gas mask, a riot helmet and tactical clothing, were stolen from the cruiser at a Canal Winchester-area home early Monday morning.
OSHP officials said that no weapons were stolen.
The theft was under investigation.
