Columbus police said a man who arrived at Mount Carmel West around 1:45 a.m. on Monday was a shooting victim.
Kentay Wilkerson, 19, is expected to survive his injuries.
Wilkerson said he was shot several times after leaving Burnzie's Tavern on West Mound Street.
Wilkerson said he went to the tavern to check on his brother who was involved in a fight.
Two suspects confronted Wilkerson outside of the establishment and the altercation led to gunfire, according to a police report.
There have been no arrests made in this case.
