A settlement has been reached in a lawsuit filed by the family of a pregnant Franklin County woman who died from the H1N1 Virus.

Kelsey Young died in September 2009 at Dublin Methodist Hospital from the virus, after giving birth prematurely at Doctors West Hospital.

According to the wrongful death lawsuit, Young was examined for the flu several days before her death.

The suit claims that the doctor failed to send her home with the proper medication to treat the virus.

Ohio Health was also named in the lawsuit.
