President Obama cancelled plans to stop in Ohio on Monday due to Hurricane Sandy.

The president will return to the White House following a campaign event in Orlando, Fla.

The event he was supposed to attend in Youngstown will go forward with former President Bill Clinton. Vice President Joe Biden was being sent to participate in the rally instead of President Obama.

Doors at the Covelli Centre in Youngstown were scheduled to open at 2:30 p.m. on Monday. The program is supposed to begin at 3:30 p.m.
