A relatively calm but cool Saturday evening is in the forecast with a few sprinkles possible, mainly east of Columbus. Skies will become partly cloudy briefly overnight. Clouds will return Sunday with widespread showers spreading back in from east to west by late in the day, although a few light showers will be possible just about any time. It will be cool and breezy Sunday with highs holding to around 50 degrees. Showers will become more likely Sunday night into Monday. The remnants of Hurricane Sandy will start to drift closer to Ohio Monday night into Tuesday. Rain showers will pick up Monday night into Tuesday with gusty winds over 30 to 40 mph. As temperatures drop Monday night, the rain will likely mix with or perhaps change to snow and continue into early Tuesday. The rain could be heavy at times across eastern Ohio where a Flood Watch has been issued. Also, some snow accumulation is possible by Tuesday morning. A High Wind Watch has also been issued for parts of eastern and northeast Ohio. Winds gusts by Monday evening could exceed 50 mph at times and continue into Monday night. Rain and snow showers will continue on and off Tuesday into Wednesday.
