New Video Shows Alleged Abuse By Fired Reynoldsburg Daycare Worker

Police in Reynoldsburg are charging a recently fired daycare employee with child endangerment for how she handled a 6-year-old child.

Surveillance video obtained by WBNS-10TV shows daycare teacher Jasmine Clark first bringing a cot to the child.

Clark, 27, then can be seen violently grabbing the girl’s arm and then her chin when she tries to walk away. Clark forces the child onto the cot.

On Wednesday the girl's mother, Richawn Davis, said after she saw the surveillance video she thought the daycare center, Michael's Lil Angels, should have done more than just fire Clark.

“I feel like the daycare should have made an incident report, they should have contacted me and they never said anything to me,” said Davis.

Davis went to police and court documents show that investigators found that Clark’s actions posed substantial risk to the safety of the child when she grabbed the girl’s arm and face.

WBNS-10TV tried several times to reach Clark for comment, but she could not be reached.

Clark has been charged with one count of endangering children and is scheduled to appear in court next Thursday.
