UPDATED: Friday October 26, 2012 10:50 PM

Interstate 70 eastbound was reopened in two directions late Friday after being closed for a number of hours.

A semi hit a wall and damaged a pole, closing I-70 east, between I-71 and Miller Avenue, shortly after 6 p.m. Friday.

Traffic was forced to exit at 18th Avenue.

Crews also closed the ramp from I-70 east to Wilson Road because of a semi crash that resulted in spilled fuel.

The names and conditions of those involved in the crashes were not immediately available.

Both sections of the road reopened shortly before 11 p.m.
