A fourth-grade teacher is planning to fight the Olentangy Local School District’s board of education to get her job back.

Suzanne Van Schaik, a teacher at Cheshire Elementary School, was fired after her son reported an alleged marijuana grow operation inside their home to authorities in August.

Delaware County Sheriff’s deputies said that they found 12 pot plants inside the home.

According to The Columbus Dispatch, Van Schaik said that her husband ran the grow operation without her knowledge.

Van Schaik has not been criminally charged.
