Thieves Get Away With Thousands After Breaking Into Storage Units

Police are trying to figure out who broke into a string of storage units in north Columbus overnight Wednesday.

According to police, thieves broke into the Public Storage business, located in the 6400 block of Busch Boulevard.

At least six units were burglarized, with thieves spending a significant amount of time inside the gates of the storage company.

Police said that thieves got away with video game consoles, game cartridges, clothing, stereo equipment and a rare coin collection, valued at more than $5,000.

It was unknown if any security cameras captured the thieves on camera.
