Authorities said there may be nothing illegal about a man’s actions, but they are warning people about what he’s doing.
A grandparent said they saw the man taking pictures of juveniles inside a Goodwill Store in Sunbury.
Shopper Evon Lineburgh said she had no idea about a report of an older man taking pictures of children as they left the store.
“It would be an opportune place for a criminal to scout out if they had those ideas,” said Lineburgh.
Another shopper, Billee Mitchell said she has never seen anything suspicious at the store and is surprised at the report.
Sunbury police said they received a report around 3 p.m. on Tuesday from a grandparent who thought a man taking photos outside the store looked suspicious.
The report made the Sunbury Police Department's Facebook page.
Police said while taking pictures of someone in a public place isn't illegal, they want the public to be aware of what happened, just in case there's more to this case.
Mitchell said it's just another reminder to keep your kids close-by.
“If you get distracted with your own child, or distracted looking at something you may notice and people can by sly obviously if they want to do something not upright,” she said.
The man is described as between 50-60 years old. He may be driving a newer model Chevy truck that’s red or burgundy in color with tinted windows.
