Police in Jacksonville, N.C. said two people from Ohio are dead after an apparent murder-suicide.
Jeremy Darrell Hall, 22, and Jessica B. Hart-Hall, 22, were both found dead on Tuesday afternoon after authorities did a welfare check at the home.
Officers said the residence was dead bolted from the inside and there was no signs of forced entry.
The investigation revealed that Jessica Hall had suffered two fatal gunshot wounds and Jeremy Hall had died from a single apparent self- inflicted gunshot wound.
The couple was from Amanda, Ohio, and relocated to Jacksonville when Jeremy Hall was stationed at Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune.
