A Dublin-area store employee was pronounced dead on Wednesday evening after a worksite accident.
According to Dublin police, a male employee of the Toys ‘R’ Us store, located at 6547 Sawmill Rd., fell from a ladder at about 7:45 p.m.
The man, who was not immediately identified, was transported to Dublin Methodist Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at about 8:30 p.m.
According to store officials, the store stayed open and planned to remain open through 10 p.m. – normal closing time.
Officials from the store would not comment on the incident.
