Prosecutors said that a woman robbed an Upper Arlington Bank on Monday by claiming she had a bomb.

Angela Gill, 55, allegedly approached a teller at First Merit Bank on West Henderson Road and stated that she placed a bomb nearby.

Gill demanded money from the teller, according to police.

Police said that after the teller handed over the money in the drawer, Gill said, "Thank you, I will not detonate the bomb."

Gill fled the bank on foot. She was arrested and was scheduled to appear in court Tuesday.
