Ohio State Athletic officials announced on Tuesday that the school has agreed to a home-at-home series with the Oregon Ducks.
The game will be played in Eugene, Ore. in 2020 and in Columbus in 2021.
“Oregon has developed into one of the premier football programs in the FBS,” Gene Smith, Ohio State Associate Vice President and Director of Athletics, said. “We are excited to add them to our future slate of games.”
The Buckeyes and the Ducks have met eight times previously, including in the 2010 Rose Bowl game, a 26-17 Ohio State win. The first meeting between the teams came in the 1958 Rose Bowl, a 10-7 Ohio State win. All six meetings between those Rose Bowl games were Ohio State wins.
Ohio State’s 2016 non-conference schedule has also been finalized with the addition of two more games. Ohio State will host the University of Tulsa Sept. 10 and Central Michigan Sept. 24.
