A man was charged with aggravated robbery after allegedly demanding money from a mother and daughter on Sunday.

According to court documents, William B. Finn held a mother and daughter at gunpoint after they tried to return a stolen phone they purchased from a neighbor to its rightful owner.

Documents stated that the mother and daughter purchased the phone, and shortly after, it began to ring.

The mother and daughter made an arrangement with the man on the phone to meet at the corner of South High and East Moler streets.

The women returned the phone to a man, who gave them $20. The man then walked across the street and talked to a man identified as Finn.

Court documents said that Finn then brandished a gun at the two women and demanded the cash they just received.

Two officers driving by the scene said that they witnessed Finn pointing the gun at the women and arrested him.

Finn was held in jail on $100,000 bond Monday.
