At any given time, more than 8,000 people are wanted by authorities in Franklin County.

Finding the people is a constant battle, according to Jeff Valentine of the Franklin County Sheriff’s Fugitive Squad.

“It’s like laundry, you’re never done with it,” Valentine said.

According to Valentine, some people who authorities question are willing to help with the search. Others, though, slam the door on law enforcement.

“We may find out it’s a bad address, and we can cross that off the list,” Valentine said.

Even one arrest makes a good day for the Fugitive Squad, but finding a suspect is like finding a needle in the haystack.

That is why CrimeTracker 10 is joining the fight.

10TV News is launching a new segment called “Monday’s Most Wanted.”

Each Monday, CrimeTracker 10 will show viewers pictures of wanted suspects with outstanding warrants with the hopes of getting them off the street.

This week, 10TV is hoping viewers recognize 18-year-old Matthew David Csoka.

Csoka is 5 feet 6 inches tall and about 140 pounds. He is a convicted sex offender wanted for failing to register.

Anyone with information about Csoka is asked to call the Franklin County Fugitive Squad at 614-525-3333.
