The Red Cross is helping a Reynoldsburg family driven out of their home by a fire.

Firefighters said the blaze started on Marlan Avenue in the garage and then spread to the rear of the house.

Investigators have not nailed down the exact cause yet.

The three people inside safely escaped with their two dogs.

Medics treated a police officer at the scene who twisted an ankle.
