Police said that a person was found dead outside of a Whitehall home early Saturday morning.
According to police, Michael Payne was found shortly after 4 a.m. along Eastway Court. The Franklin County Coroner was called to the scene.
Police said that they were treating the Payne's death as a homicide but had not yet ruled the death to be murder.
Officials also said that they thought the body could have been dumped outside of the house.
Police set up a white tent outside of the home as part of the investigation.
An autopsy was expected to be performed on Sunday.
