The first guest checked into the Downtown Hilton Hotel Friday afternoon.
The $140 million hotel on High Street will add 532 rooms to the downtown area.
A skybridge will also connect the 14 floor hotel to the Greater Columbus Convention Center.
Columbus and Franklin County worked together to build the hotel to help bring larger conventions to the area.
Hilton will manage the facility.
