A gunman was on the run after a Wednesday evening shooting.
Police said that 18-year-old Curtis Blakely was in the front yard of a home in the 1100 block of East 16th Avenue when the shooting occurred.
According to authorities, Blakely was involved in an argument with several other people when one of them pulled a gun.
Blakely was shot once in the lower torso. Several homes in the area were struck by flying bullets.
Police said that Blakely was expected to survive his injuries.
