The Ohio State Highway Patrol said it appears a driver failed to yield moments before colliding with a tractor trailer in Ashland County on Tuesday that killed one person.

Diten Moore, 22, was driving a pick-up truck that struck the semi at the intersection of state Route 302 and U.S. Route 42. Moore was killed in the crash.

The fiery crash also injured the semi driver and two passengers in the pick-up truck.

The female homeowner was inside at the time of the crash and was uninjured.

That crash also destroyed a home near the intersection when both vehicles plowed into it following the crash.
