Officials have announced the city's newest police chief.
Bruce Pijanowski, a 24-year veteran of the force, will be the city's 12th chief.
Pijanowski, former assistant chief, served as interim chief since May. His interim position began when Russ Martin took on the role as Delaware County sheriff.
City officials said that Pijanowski was selected from a group of 28 applicants.
