New Lexington police are investigating the death of a 39-year-old woman.
Someone called police around 11:30 p.m. Sunday night, and that call led police to find the victim inside an apartment on the 400 block of Lincoln Park Drive.
A person of interest was taken into custody following the discovery of the body.
The names of the victim and the person in custody were not released.
The cause of death has also not been released.
