Republican vice presidential candidate Paul Ryan and First Lady Michelle Obama reached out to voters in campaign appearances around Ohio Monday.
Ryan held a rally at an airport in Cincinnati at noon Monday.
Ryan told supporters that Ohio is the "the battleground state of battleground states" and they must vote for growth over stagnation in three weeks.
He spoke to about 500 supporters on a chilly, breezy Monday afternoon before serving them barbecue.
The first lady made an afternoon stop in Delaware before heading to Cleveland for another campaign appearance.
Obama told a Columbus crowd that her absentee ballot is on its way to Illinois. "We're one vote closer."
It will continue to be a busy week in the Buckeye state for both campaigns.
Ryan and GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney campaigned in Ohio on Saturday. Ryan's rally on Monday meant the Republican ticket had been in Ohio six of the last eight days.
The first lady was last in Ohio on Oct. 2 to speak on the first day of early voting.
Democratic President Barack Obama returns to Ohio Wednesday at Ohio University, in Athens, while former President Bill Clinton and music star Bruce Springsteen will campaign Thursday for Obama in Parma.
